State of the Patreon (4/19/21) (Patreon)

Dear Patrons:

April has been a good month so far. Birds are singing, the weather is warming, and we finally seem to be emerging from our Covid cocoons. We sincerely hope none of you were affected by it too severely—physically, emotionally, economically, or otherwise.

It has been a good month for the Patreon, too! Last month was a bit frustrating; we were busy as heck, but there were delays beyond our control and a lot of our efforts were spent investing in the future—both in terms of content and forging relationships that should help propel Mavrip into a class by itself. The good news is the future is now for some of these unique projects and collaborations:

*Last week saw the release of the “Jean Therapy” audiobook: https://www.patreon.com/posts/jean-therapy-49942781.  I must commend Riptoryx for his effort in putting this together.  Initially, I wasn’t sure I even wanted my stories narrated—most weight-gain story narration is mediocre at best and, frankly, I find it a tad embarrassing to hear my fetish fiction read aloud—but not only did Riptoryx find a real winner with Kim Reiko (she’s amazingly talented and easy to work with), but his puzzling together of her multiple takes ensured that the audiobook pushes all the appropriate buttons from a kink standpoint.  We hope you’re enjoying it!

*Last week also saw the release of our Customized Weight-Gain Passages: "Flavor Poll":   https://www.patreon.com/posts/customized-gain-50072883. This is the first of what we hope will be numerous collaborations with the sexy and sultry GoodGirlGrow.  It’s a special reward for our Sabotaged Snackers for whom we’ll be creating customized weight-gain passages to which GGG will add some narrative sizzle. Fiction will always be our forte, but let’s face it—the package it’s delivered in makes a difference! The poll runs through the start of next month, so you still have time if you’d like to participate!

*In other news, 2021 marks the 25thAnniversary of “The Lesson,” my first foray into the world of weight-gain fiction. (I know, I’m old.) Riptoryx thinks we should do something special to commemorate the occasion and I’m down with that if you think its merited. Did the story resonate with you back in the day?

*What else? Work continues on our Adventure Games (thank you for your patience—the wait will be worth it!) and we will be announcing a new collaboration with an old friend very soon. Meanwhile, our new friend, GGG, has some patron-friendly plans of her own that should be a lot of fun.  Stay-tuned for more details!
