State of the Patreon (7/17/2020) (Patreon)

Dear Patrons:

I want to begin by wishing you continued health and safety as we weather this seemingly never-ending Coronavirus storm. We have no delusions of grandeur, but hope this page has served as a pleasant diversion during these trying times. It’s certainly been one for Riptoryx and I, and we will continue to work hard to provide you quality quarantine content!

Since most milestones in the news have been negative, I want to acknowledge a looming positive one: we’re nearly to 100 patrons! How cool is that? The support you’ve shown us is inspiring. Riptoryx and I talk all the time about how your enthusiasm fires us up to not only produce high-quality fiction, but to build Mavrip into a perverse multimedia universe!

To that end, we will continue to put resources towards expanding our content and capabilities. This includes adventure games like the one Riptoryx is working on (https://www.patreon.com/posts/reveal-trailer-39012051) commissioning visuals for our stories (https://www.patreon.com/posts/one-night-party-33788338) and hiring voice actors to narrate our tales (https://www.patreon.com/posts/youre-going-to-34183692).   

Speaking of narration (Ha!), we’re just a few shekels short of our next goal, at which point you’ll pick the next Mavrip story to be narrated. Give it some thought (and an extra shekel if you’re inclined). 

In another mini-milestone, “The Harem on the Hill” just hit episode 25!  To celebrate, the serial will feature its first significant time-forward beginning in the next chapter. I can’t promise what will happen (voting is still open!), but if you’ve been following the series you know I’m all about character growth ;). And if you haven’t been following, why not? We’re gradually making older chapters available to all patrons, and with the pending time-forward, it’s a great time to get in on the voting action.

What else? Visuals for another Mavrip story should be ready for release by the end of the month. (We’ve seen the final proofs and they’re looking good!) I’m also developing a ‘musing’ around the artwork we’ve commissioned to include “behind-the-scenes” anecdotes and images. For patron’s eyes only!
