AAAA sorry for taking longer than I said I would on this comic, guys ;__; 

These months, I've been getting sick too easily and often. 💀 It's caused an unfortunate and stressful delay on everything I've been working on, including the sticker orders 😔 I really apologize... I wanted them to be sent out by/before Christmas, but I couldn't leave my bed a bunch of times due to sickness... orz

I am finally recovering, though! Or at least I hope?? ;__; All I know is my head isn't hurting and I'm coughing less... so I'm counting it as a win! I hope you're all staying safe and healthy, though. Please learn from my mistakes and pay attention to the signs of sickness!!! 💦💦 But anyhoo

COMIC NOTES + SOME LORE:

In this comic, I'm answering the questions that were requested last month about how it's like when vampires transform + How Shay turned~ Yes, it was due to dumb lesbian brain, even someone like Shay can fall victim to it...

Aiko makes another appearance too! If you don't remember, she was in a comic from September! 

In this comic with Shay, I decided to show some of her(Aiko’s) flaws. Actually, she and Shay had a bit of a fling in canon, but nothing came of it due to Aiko's immature nature, and way of navigating feelings. They realized they wouldn't actually be compatible and stayed as friends. I tried to parallel that in this universe, but instead with a messier ending. Aiko tricking Shay into letting her turn her felt like it was too fucked up for Shay to just let it slide smoothly. Not just because she didn't want to be a vampire in the first place, but also because the vampire transition is EXCRUCIATING. 

The vampire blood entering your system is like a violent virus in the form of poison taking over you. Your body, not knowing how to deal with this "virus" undergoes fever-like symptoms. You feel like you're on fire, but even if you covered up, you'd feel cold. You can't stop sweating and your brain feels extremely foggy, unable to focus on anything but getting something to eat. The transition from human to [Vampire] shapeshifter is not so easy on the poor human's skin either. If you can... imagine someone is pinching your skin, but with the intent to kill. LOL If you're curious about anything else, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer your curiosity about how vampires work in my world haha
