An Orc, coloring study (Patreon)

I'm not exactly sure why I'm posting this here. I kinda want to start working on a DA account with lots of non-erotic stuff, but it'll have to be under a pseudonym. Anyway, I painted this orc using a method I never use for anything else. Everything else I do is layer by layer by layer, and I mostly play around with opacity on a layer by layer basis, just to keep everything even and because it is much quicker. This guy was more like an actual painting, where I just set my brush to a low opacity and went crazy with green and purple until I got something I liked. I've tried this before on my erotic stuff, but it always makes girl's come out looking dirty, and then balancing the image overall can be very challenging. One head? No problem. A whole image? Hours upon hours of work, only to discover that it looks all lumpy and wrong. Anyways, I like this one, and maybe I'll do a series of busts because of it. Like, a dwarf, and an elf, and a lich and shit like that.
