My Adventures with Superman (Patreon)

I'm really enjoying MAWS so far. It's very cute and twee, but that's the point. That's the vibe. You gotta get with it, or you gotta get out. I'm just so fucking happy that we're finally getting more Superman stuff with him actually just being himself, and not some stupid edgelord evil reimagining. I am so sick of that shit. Now that we have Omni-Man and Homelander, we never need to see another evil Superman ever again, because the trope has been fulfilled. The best thing about the series is that it's so cute it'll scare the last of the Snyderlings out of the Superman fandom. Good.

My only real complaint is Livewire. Her character was always sassy, sexy, and wild. She was a literal shockjock. In MAWS, she's just a generic technology-based paramilitary goon. That's so boring. That's so bland. I wouldn't even bother giving a name to a generic paramilitary goon. But whatever, I sense that there were some very cool story developments on the way, so I'm hooked.
