I've probably recycled this joke a few dozen times. I couldn't help it. The assets for this comic are really obvious in the show, it didn't take that much recontextualization to construct the joke.

Oh, well. I guess I wasn't really thinking about the nature of the sword as I drew it. I actually did try to make it 'glowy' but I've never really figured out how to do that in my style. I realize she shouldn't be able to flick it, but I did that purely for comedic effect. Everything I draw takes place in a sort of 'Looney Tunes' type of hyper-reality. Cartoon physics. All that matters is the joke, so everything else can be inconsistent.
