Duke Sketch: Raven on Top (Patreon)

Yeah. Yeesh. This was my last attempt at the new style of rendering entirely in grayscale and then shading using soft-light and overlay layers. It kinda worked for Livewire, but what I realize now is that's because her light blue coloration just works with that style, and I wasn't really trying to put any small, complex, or sharp details into it. Those don't really work like this. I'll be going back to my usual style for future peices, with line-art, flats, and shading all on seperate layers. Sigh . . . I was so excited to save time, but this style would actually take much, much longer for complex images.
