Aaaaaaaand done. This isn't exactly how Kee-Va and Brule met, but it's why Brule first left his homeland and became a wanderer. I guess his tribe is governed by an evil shaman lady named Auntie Juju who summons little devils to work for her. I'm thinking the devils will be called tokoloshes (look it up on Wikipedia), not that it really matters. Imps are just imps regardless of what culture they come from.

This isn't how Kee-Va and Brule met though. I'm thinking that Brule met Kee-Va when he saved her from some sort of monster, and she nursed him back to health. That's why he has those scars on his shoulders. They are from whatever attacked her. I'm not sure about the details though. I might leave that part of their story vague forever. I prefer origins to be vague. That's part of the reason I hate prequels so much. It's better to let the audience imagine whatever they want than to tell a complete story.

Man for someone who dislike canon you made a really cool and interesting one for Brule, the story and design of Auntie Juju is pretty incredible, I think you gave us enough information.

DarkGen95

I dig it. I do have a question tho, what do his eyes look like? Will we ever see them?

markydaysaid

I might show them at certain moments for dramatic effect, but otherwise I kind of like that trope of a character who is always wearing a hat, or a hood, or something.

That black guy

This is how Howard did it with conan, stories that make up a loose canon but has a lot of ill-defined elements and characters introduced that Conan knows or are thrust into his life before the story

makai9

Cat clan finna be a Black Cat clan also bro those fuckin imps faces tho 😂😂😂

Truth313

Great work Brule didn't regret run away from his clan ;3

markydaysaid

yep. Howard's method is my favorite. Lore should be vague and loose to flavor the story but not dictate it.

Karl Hungus

I really like these characters! Lots of possibilities for some awesome sexy adventures between these guys, can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Fairfaxer

Awesome! But aren't you worried about how close to racial caricatures Aunt Juju and those throne bearers are in appearance?

markydaysaid

That's intentional. Tikoloshes are creatures from South African lore. Making them look like racist caricatures of Black people is the joke, much in the same way goblins are distortions of humans.

markydaysaid

I'm sure her regrets leaving a few of his bros behind, but what could he do? Auntie Juju is a scary woman.

Master Dragon

Wow, no wonder he's in heaven. He grew up in hell!
