It's not necessarily the same gorgon, I just draw them all the same. Technically only Medusa had the power to turn people into stone, and it had nothing to do with her being a gorgon, it was a special power unique to her, but I'm willing to think that it this one just didn't have the power, or that the power doesn't work when its dead.
