I kind of what to draw more Starscout Dizzy stuff. My biggest problem with Starscout Dizzy, as with all things, is an overemphasis on lore and storytelling instead of just straight puns and stupid jokes. Despite that, I'm DOUBLING down. So, for the next little while at least, instead of daily sketches, I'm going to work on a roster for the major races of Starscout Dizzy's world. I'm not sure if I'll do all of them, but I'm interested to see which races YOU, the patrons, would be interested in seeing more off. So, here we go. I'll draw a sort of bio sheet for the winning race, with info and  a few pictures to flesh them out. 

Humanity. Home Planet: Earth. Adaptability: High. Lifespan: Moderate. Galactic Population: Moderate. Although a relatively young race and new to the Astral Alliance, Humanity has proven itself to be adaptable and resourceful enough to thrive under almost any conditions. Humanity possesses an imagination and strong 'can do' spirit which allows them to triumph in situations where other more 'logical' races would fail. However, human diversity can be as much of a weakness as a strength, since humans of two conflicting identity groups are more like to go to war with one another than either would with a common enemy. Humans now make up large portion of the Astral Alliance Military, especially in elite special operations unit, the Starscouts. 

 Danaan. Home Planet: Forgotten. Adaptability: High. Lifespan: Immortal. Galactic Population: Very Low. The Danaan are the oldest and most advanced sentient race in the Milky Way Galaxy, having mastered interstellar travel tens of millions of years ago. Their technology is so advanced that it is virtually indistinguishable from magic. The Danaan are strictly matriarchal and regard male sex as inferior though genetically necessary. Only females are seen by other species, since females do all the work. Males are kept hidden in secretive 'sex palaces,' where they spend their entire lives as spoiled pampered breeding stock. Most Danann possess powerful psychic abilities that vary between individuals, but more are capable of at least some telekinesis and telepathy.  The Danaan created the Astral Alliance to foster peace between their 'superior' race and the other 'inferior' races of the galaxy as a sort of benevolent racial hierarchy, which many species such as Humanity have willingly submitted to. The special operations unit The Starscouts was created to serve directly under the command of the Alliance's High Admirals, all of which are Danaan.   

 The Dark Danaan. Home Planet: Forgotten, currently based out of the black hole called Charybdis. Adaptability: High. Lifespan: Nearly Immortal. Galactic Population: Very Low. The Dark Danaan are an ancient offshoot of the Danaan Empire, who were driven into exile following a galactic wide civil war which lasted for tens of thousands of years. The Dark Danaan hold themselves to be the true representatives of Danaan culture and Danaan heritage. Deeply violent, racist, sadistic, hedonistic, and chauvinistic, the Dark Danaan believe that all non-Danaan life in the galaxy must either be enslaved or exterminated, and the only thing stopping them from accomplishing this galaxy-wide genocide is the Astral Alliance. The Dark Danaan are very few, perhaps numbering only in a few million individuals, so their rely heavily on mercenaries and slave-soldiers which they've 'assimilated' through a process they refer to as 'redemptive rape.'   

 Rozians. Home Planet: Roz. Adaptability: Very High. Lifespan:  Varies between phenotypes. Galactic Populations: Very High. The Rozians are one of the most genetically adaptable species in the known galaxy. Their females possess the unique ability to reproduce with almost any genetic material, thus creating unique hybrid offspring with radically varying traits. Thanks to this adaptability, a new generation of hybrid Rozians can populate just about any environment in which some form of biological life exists. The evolutionary psychology of the Rozians is such that they are extremely open to new experiences and are sexually receptive, but unfortunately they are also submissive by nature, and are thus easily conquered. Because redundant genes are not desirable, male Rozians rarely get the opportunity to reproduce with female Rozians when the option of a 'diverse' or 'superior' male exists. Humans have derisively dubbed this behavior “inter-species cuckolding,” since female Rozians are encouraged to be sexually promiscuous and adventurous with other species, whereas males are encouraged to stay home and raise the superior males' offspring. Rozians have a problematic relationship with the Danaan, since the Danaan are the only known species which cannot reproduce with Rozians. Rozians have fostered a deep friendship with Humanity thanks to the ease of crossbreeding. At this current time, at least 15% of the human galactic population has some Rozian heritage.   

 Felicians. Home Planet: Ser-Val. Adaptability: Moderate. Lifespan: Moderate. Galactic Population: Moderate. The Felicians are a race of bipedal carnivores which very closely resemble the felines of Earth. Strong, agile, and aggressive, the Felicians have served as the brunt of the Astral Alliance's Military for several thousand years, and were once the principal species recruited to be Starscouts. With the arrival of Humanity into the Alliance however, all that has changed, and now Humans are widely regarded as the favorite species of the Danaan. This has lead to a strong sense of rivalry between the Felicians and Humanity, although it mostly a friendly rivalry. Felicians are slow to develop friendships, but very loyal to the friends they make. This behavior is reflection of their evolutionary psychology, as their species evolved to either be solitary hunters or work in small packs. Felicians refer to these small cohesive packs as 'prides,' which are usually made up of family members, close friends, and rarely a member of another species.    

Bogans. Home Planet: Bogan (destroyed). Adaptability: Very High. Lifespan: Varies between phenotpyes. Galactic Population: Extremely High. The Bogans are perhaps the most widespread and numerous of all sentient races in the Milky Way Galazy, making them something of a plague. Bogans are violent, emotional, and stupid, although certain genetic 'alphas' will possess extraordinary abilities. Bogans do not make scientific 'discoveries,' rather they've managed to build interplanetary spaceships purely by accident, although nine out of ten  of all Bogan inventions eventually explode. The only thing which has kept the Bogan population under control is their own barbaric and warlike nature, as well as their species propensity for cannibalism. A Bogan bitch may give birth to as many as a hundred pups in a year, but of these only a few will survive to adulthood. Because of their very loose genetic structure, Bogans actually thrive when exposed to pollution and radiation, since they can quickly develop beneficial mutations. The Astral Alliance has had a long and strange relationship with the Bogans, at times using them as mercenaries, and at other times the Alliance has tried to genocide the entire race. Despite being so widespread and adaptable, the chances of a Bogan empire ever developing are very small. Bogans are too stupid to develop any form of hierarchy more complex than 'bosses' and 'bigger bosses,' and most Bogan governments only last for a few years before falling apart.
