Lo Bust 2023 [KB Rewrite/Otherworld] (Patreon)

Felt like drawing some KB characters! This is sort of an update to Lo's original look, which was inspired a lot by Digimon characters back in the day. Black jacket, fingerless gloves, torn jeans, black boots, and a gray turtleneck (very punkish, in my mind back then). Lo always intended to dress a little more intimidating, to help with that wonderful tendency she has to self-isolate, but her wardrobe gets a little more varied as the story goes on.

Fun fact: Lo used to wear goggles! In some stories, she still does; but that really depends on who's writing her. The goggles disappear pretty early on in the original story, and are a relic from her origins as a Digimon OC.

Originally, her necklace was an ankh - but in order to step away from what might seem like a bit of cultural appropriation, I created something a little more fitting and neutral.

Facial reference is partially Sarah Chalke, who back in the day I always envisioned voicing Lo - but that was a long time ago haha. If you asked me now, I probably would have a hard time answering something like that.

Her full name is Loaño, but I shortened it to Lo - not just for ease of pronunciation, but writing as well. She gets called Lo a lot more anyway :P Her last name is still Ishida!

Anyway I love Lo, she means a lot to me, can't wait to make her suffer all over again :D
