Announcement [5/25/2023] (Patreon)

Hey, all!

Well, with that last design, I'm finally caught up! I've designed every named character in the main series of Warrior Cats!

What happens now?

Oh man, I'm really not sure! I've drawn well over 1,200 characters in the past 3-4 years, give or take, and that's quite something!! I'm obviously going to keep up with the series, adding more characters as we go along - until either I'm fully done with the series myself or it finally ends.

In the meantime, I'm going to take a little break. I'm going to be heading out this weekend to see family, and I've got a fairly big commission lined up for when I get back. I'd like to keep up my daily warm-ups somehow, but as of right now I'm not sure what will be as quick as these cat designs were.

Heck, I might even go back and, uh, fix up some of the old ones. Some of them looked baaaad.

I'd also like to start working on the Starlight bonus comic! Comics have been a somewhat difficult thing for me to get into for a long while so it's been difficult to wrestle it together.

Now, as far as Twilight goes...

Would you believe me if I said I'm going to have to rewrite the prologue again?? Because I am.

I'm trying out LivingWriter, a novel-writing software that includes some tools for efficiently plotting stories. I'm going to try and write Twilight in it, and see what happens - the online version of Word was having some difficulties that put my work at risk, so I'm leaving it for now.

I've got the story properly plotted out and boy is it a lot! I've decided that for the sake of flow, I'm shifting a couple events to Sunset where they might make more sense and, as such, I'm going to need to rewrite the prologue of Twilight, as it reflected that previous direction.

When Twilight is over, I'll try to get a screenshot of the flow chart I'm using the plot the story. It's big and winding and weird, but it should hopefully condense well.

For now, enjoy the cats I've made! I'll try to have some previews of Twilight for y'all soon.
