Let's get personal.

I never saw myself getting into modeling or photography, yet here I am. These photos were actually my first attempt at editing in Lightroom, and let me tell you... I was one frustrated chick. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING!! This moon lamp actually broke as a result of my frustration, and I almost gave up on these photos entirely. Gosh am I glad I didn't. I'm looking back at these photos nearly a whole year later, and I am so impressed with what I managed to achieve back then and amazed at the progress I've made since. I almost want to go back though and reedit the photos more appropriately (maybe go a little easier on the luminance DEAR GAWD 🤣).

I'd also like to give a special thank you to my dear friend, Peter, who actually inspired me to create these photos to begin with. I ALWAYS welcome new photoshoot ideas and enjoy being challenged. Feel free to comment your ideas, because I'd love to hear them, too!

AAAAAAND FUN FACT! I'm not much a fan of tattoos (on me, I actually love tattoos in general), but I do have a real shitty moon tattoo on my ankle that you can kinda see in image  5. It's a swirly mess of colors that I got shortly after my 18th birthday (and it is indeed a dumb house tattoo UGH). LOLOL. Maybe one day I'll get it covered up.

Thank you for sharing the story behind these pictures. I love the concept behind the shoot. There is really something wonderful about the way your pretty pale complexion looks amongst the darkness. Love seeing your artistic spirit shine.

Marcus

For someone who didn't know what she was doing they sure turned out well. I would buy a poster of #21.

I find it hard to comment on this set, even though I consider it out of this world, literally, as I remember the message you sent me when you first saw the "rough" photos, after you put so much time and effort into them, your frustration and disappointment were heartbreaking. You showed great strength in persevering with them and creating a set to be really proud of.

Neil Bradford

These photos have an ethereal vibe to them. Really cool.

Rick Kubik

Really is a captivating set of photos! You do show a certain kind of mastery of how light and shadow affect a scene, that really is impressive. You're creating a look with the natural elements of yourself, rather than with heavy makeup and extra-fancy fingernails. It's great work, Sierra, it really is.

Rick Kubik

I could tell however you might liked to have hurled that moon-ball out the dashed window in frustration. You didn't though, tg. Nice fingernails, btw. I like that natural woman look. And you are so right about that ankle tattoo. Yowzah. It sure does need to get covered up or something. Live and learn, eh?

You're so stunning
