Madeline always wondered why people kept asking her for fresh milk. Both at work and on the street. It never bothered her. She always appreciates some friendly conversation, but she found it odd that so many people would touch on something she never found remarkable at all...

Until she got asked for fresh milk again this morning at work, by the one customer who makes her heart soar. Every morning he comes in for the usual, with his witty banter and fun repartee, and she'd hope he'd ask her to sit down with him.

This morning she was determined to get him that fresh milk he wanted. And to ask him out on a date afterward.
