Equinox thumbnails (Patreon)

Here is a little insight in how start my drawings. First phase is just sketching out really loose thumbnails. In this phase i am not concerned about details or proportions i am just focused on getting the overall "feel" of the pose. Its best not to be too critical in this phase because I want to get out as many ideas as I can. If I am too concerned over the pose looking bad then I start to hesitate, work slower and be less creative overall. After I finish doing thumbnails I pick out I pose I like, gather reference and tighten up the drawing more  to get it ready for lineart.
