Reminds me of a time when I was walking in the woods with a friend of mine, and he kept talking: "Oh, it's so slient here in the forest, isn't it! So totally quiet! You don't hear anything! So peaceful! Isn't it amazing?"

i totally do this. at the same time, what if you had to just sketch a picture and search for it when you got home? and had to do your best to remember the sound, maybe try to recreate it yourselves, so you could look it up later? i love the certainty of facts but there is something beautiful about the abstract working of the mind, even if the ultimate answer might not be factually correct. (this is something i'm working on with myself and thought i'd share)
