Large biscuit maximum joy

We sales people get yelled at if we don't greet every guest yet get ignored by everyone. Then the second we try to get some other work done someone asks us a question.

This always looks like such an unbelievably thankless job. Having to annoy all the passersby by shilling something nobody wants, getting ignored, and likely getting blamed by their bosses for the fact that nobody wants it. Sadly, ignoring them is probably still the right option, because if I stopped to talk I’d just be wasting BOTH our time. Sometimes I try to give a "Not interested, but thanks for asking!" if the person doesn't look TOO pushy.

I just tell them I already signed up with them the other day and got a great deal. Usually that works.
