There's a saying in finnish, "fire is a good servant, but a poor master", which roughly translates to "heating your house is good, burning your house is bad" - you have to keep an eye on fire, and make sure it serves you and your purposes. Many other things, such as money, and technology, are definitely in the same cathegory.

After seeing so many of the "AI produces an illustration from a prompt" images online, and thinking to myself that they could be so useful as a tool for making art, I finally found the DALL-E image rendering program online, and decided to give it a try!

I had been so lost trying to find good reference pictures for specific things online - especially in trying to figure out how to make a specific shape in a specific material, and while it was still tricky and challenging, I'm rather happy with the results. The artificial intelligence image renders aren't here to replace artists and illustrations, but rather a handy tool when used by one.

Wow! This is the very first time I saw someone use the DALL-E thing for a legit reason, other than creating memes. (Not that creating memes are not legit lol) This is amazing! And definitely glass, not jelly. ;)

Oh! So good! (I should have waited until I'd caught up to comment on the glass hand. That's what I get for ignoring Patreon for a whole month... 😕) Those examples from the AI are amazing (I'm about to try it out myself, so thanks for sharing the link). I still hope my earlier comments will be useful to you - knowing the physics behind why a glass object looks the way it does might help you replicate the look without needing a direct reference. 😊
