I'm now a bit over halfway through with A Friend of Caesar! I'm starting to get the hang of how to use refrence pictures efficiently, and I'm really proud of these panels here, so I was encouraged to share them here, too.

Thank you for sharing these! I'm so used to the elegant minimalism of Foxes in Love, it's really cool to see how adeptly you handle perspective and texture and contrast in these panels. The sense of space in panel 2 is especially convincing, thanks to the solid perspective and the way the contrast slowly decreases with distance. The whole sequence also does a really effective job of showing a trip from the working-class to the fancier areas of the city.

I wasn't sure if I made the transition clear enough, I'm glad I got it! Comparing reference images for the ones with the right idea gets challenging sometimes

Loving the architectural details! I’m just wondering if the two foxes(?) in the corner of the second panel were our Blue and Green’s cameo :)
