At last, the final stage of "Kendo Ending 1". As you'll be able to see, there's actually 3 variations to this ending. The events that transcur are all different, but the destination is pretty much the same. Is Satoshi someone who'd risk his chance at payback just to experience one final night with Mary, someone who'd wake up to a cuckolding fetish, or someone who'd try to get some payback above all else? You'll be the one to choose.

Of course, the netorase variant hasn't been added yet, so fans of that will have to wait until next week.

For the h-scene in this update I had a difficult time deciding whether or not totry and match or beat the intensity of Mary's reveal scene. I eventually decided against it, and I think the scene was better as a result. Mary's reveal scene is meant to be extra special, so I decided to make a scene that would feel as a final segment of it.

My favorite part to write was probably the "Payback" variation of the ending. For most of the story I've written Satoshi as someone who cannot accomplishes what he sets out to do, and Mary as someone who's always somewhat in control. So it was fun to write a Satoshi that COULD do something if he tried and a Mary that's more vulnerable than usual (even if it's only for a little bit).

That said, it's also a little frustrating. That ending variation contains some elements that people have been suggesting for the past few weeks, both in my Discord and other forums. This ending has been planned for a while, however, so I don't want you to think I actually listened to your suggestions for once. You know that's not something I do!

But in all seriousness, kudos to those who called it. May you enjoy Mary's tears, you maniacs.

Next week, some final early game revisions and the final ending variation. And after that, who knows? I may even leave it up to vote.
