Hi everyone,

In this tutorial Fletcher gives the low down on how to get yourself a realistic Grey Tau Colour Scheme. This tutorial features heavy use of an airbrush in order to achieve the thin glazes needed to easily achieve subtle grey transitions and weathering, as well as looking at lenses, weathering, and clean highlights.

If you have any questions, make sure you leave them in the comments below.

Lastly, happy painting, and make sure you share your results with us! #siegestudios

Could you specify some of the colors and varnishes? One of the Vallejo paints is model colors but no number or indication. Also, what surface primer do you use?

Hi Alejandro, Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I went through and checked all the Vallejo colours, they are supposed to be; Vallejo Model Color Black 950 Vallejo Panzer Aces 329 - Highlight Russian Tank Crew I Vallejo Model Color 816 Luftwaffe Uniform WWII Vallejo Model Color Silver Grey 883 Vallejo Model Color White 951 Vallejo Model Color Bronze 998 Vallejo Model Color Blue Green 808 Where the tutorial refers to 'Model Color' this is supposed to be the Vallejo Model Color 816 Luftwaffe Uniform WWII paint. The surface primer for this scheme was Vallejo Surface Primer Black 74.602 Kind regards, Ed, Siege Team
