A few Patrons mentioned that individual technique tutorials would be helpful, especially if it's techniques that we may use in our other tutorials.

So, with that, we'd like to give you an introduction to glazing!

Glazing is a fundamental technique for the aspiring painter to give control of colour at an incremental level. It allows colour to be insinuated or added gradually to areas and aids with blending colours together from one to another as part of the process. 

In short, it is a key technique for control colour and giving you smoother results.

Enjoyed the recap having done the EMC a few months back. I can blend single transitions ok, especially on straight areas like swords. Any advice for blends on larger areas such as a cloak? Thanks!

Is the plastic used pieces of sprue? Any advice on cloaks as per Darrens comments above would be great too.
