Project Poll 26 (Patreon)

Yeah, so I thought about it and I think I want to do more hair at the moment. I was going to post a regular armors/outfit pieces poll and just do the hair in the background as a separate project, but I don't really like juggling stuff like that if I can avoid it, I prefer to work on one thing at a time and take it to completion. Since hair is what I really want to make at this time, it won over.

This poll is a bit more constrained in its options because of that. I picked two new styles that are pretty straightforward and easy to do (also similar to one another), since the ones in the past polls are much more complex. Now, I was very likely going to pick the first one myself out of the two and just run with it, but now since there's a poll for it, I'll leave the choice to you.

Poll options:

1. Wispy Bangs Hairstyle

- I would style the top/bangs here more closer to image #1/3 rather than the more square-ish #2, but the lower part/overall texture would be closer to #2/3 rather than the wavy style in #1. While the waviness and overall look of #1 is undoubtedly the most pretty, it's also more complex and time consuming to achieve, something that I really want to avoid.


2. Butterfly Cut

- as mentioned at the start, I would've most likely gone for the previous style rather than this one. That's mostly because this one is a bit more difficult to make. It's not a big difference, but the hairline is showing in this one, so that means extra care needs to be put in. Other than that, there really is not much difference between the two (in terms of making a 3d model, not looks of course).

- the point that I made for the previous style also applies here, I'd mostly go for a straighter look to keep things simple, though I will probably have to include some roundness at the tips like in the images above. Seems like that's just part of the style and it wouldn't look like itself otherwise.


I am keeping the voting period a bit on the longer side for this. There's still some unfinished items that I want to complete before this hair and with the holidays, I admit, I've been slacking off a bit on those lately.
