- Completed "lowpoly" (not that low, it's over 100k tris) and textured the full asset, images right out of the oven :)
- Very happy to finally have this done, it's been a handful (pun not intended :P). Left most small details in the model fully 3d, normal map isn't doing that much here aside from some rounded edges/shading and some small screws.
- Had to split this into 2 separate texture maps due to the sheer volume of UV shells that had to be mapped, so this is using 2 4k maps. Speaking of textures, this is going to be the standard look, but as I said in one of the last posts, I'm definitely doing a texture pack for this. I think this has potential to look cool with different color schemes or styles, I'm very interested in a carbon fiber look for this, for instance.
- This should be out by this week's end, I'd also like to get the texture pack done and released at the same time, so that I can move forward from this project.
