- Hey there, update for this hair.

- Completed base model for the head, ready for detailing

- I struggled quite a bit with the front, but I think I finally cracked it somewhat. I'm not sure why, but doing front hair parts is extremely difficult for me. I think I might've spent more time on the simple bangs than I did for most of the lower and upper back.

- This might be because the FO4 headmesh is just extremely ugly, if not anatomically weird. I always felt the forehead was gigantic and the general slope is extremely straight, giving the whole head a very top-heavy blocky look that just doesn't look appealing to me. Trying to work around this and also make a realistic hairline is very difficult. Or it may just be my general inexperience with hair modeling, I have no idea at this point.

- Speaking about the hairline, ignore it basically :P This is just the base, as I stack additional hairs and detail on top it's going to be brought further down automatically and gaps will be closed.

- Next is doing the base for the ponytail. This should be much easier though, since all the hairs originate from a single point and overall volume and look is simply a matter of density.

is this one going to have physics?

I'm not sure yet, it depends on it's final look which is still a ways to go, but probably not. Since there isn't any collision with the body in FO4, longer hairstyles just end up clipping with it if there's any sort significant movement.

Yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of the vanilla head mesh lol. The top is big and wide, with the rest slim/long (like a diamond shape). When I have ported hairs into FO4, I always dreaded having to refit them to the head due to how weird it's shaped and would attempt to hide some of the fivehead that's going on.... However, this hair is beautifully done, even as it is right now without a ponytail and the detailing. I think you've got a knack for making these, imo, with all the depth and detail in the mesh alone. Look forward to seeing it upon completion with the hairline. Stay well.
