Sorry for the confusing question. I think Patreon auto sends out an email when you post something. With some other authors, I only receive email notification for posts in sections I have access to.

Oh, I see. Well this post in particular is a public gallery post for everyone, patron or not. That's probably why you received an email about it. I do these gallery type posts and previews separate alongside the posts that contain the release, so that everyone (followers and lower tier patrons that don't have access to everything) can see what is being posted or worked on. Mostly as an easier way to browse and for information purposes.
