So for what it's worth, I figured I'd reveal some pre-production things that I've been experimenting with for the next comic, "Hyn."

"Hyn" (the third comic of the series I'm working on) is a follow up of the antagonist from Breaking the Mold, just like Ghosts was a follow up of Wesley. All this pre-production stuff is part of what I want to do differently going forward, as the last comic didn't have a pre-production stage or anything like that. 

So far, I've made character concepts and sketches. I've also tried something weirder: tracing Garry's Mod screenshots of maps I make using Source's level-design tool Hammer. You can see all the stuff below:
