Unfinished Project (Animatic) - "The Fish" (Patreon)

While I was working on the comic, it occurred to me that I completely forgot about storyboards! Here's something you can take a look at between the next comic update if you'd like.

Basically, while I was dabbling in writing the world for my comic, I also attempted to storyboard / thumbnail two Protogen-based short-films. This is the second one I tried, and its the only scribbly-animatic-board-thing that I ever "finished" from start to end. The short is about a Protogen who's tasked with delivering a fish with psychic powers to its parents. 

I wanted to make it atmospheric, so I kinda dug deep into the placeholder sounds really early on. The soundtrack, though, is from Half Life 2 Episode 2 ("Nectarium" by Kelly Baily). It was basically the track that inspired the imagery to begin with. 

It's really weird, and really messy, but it's something! :P
