If God is all powerful surely he could have made a world where justice worked at least as well as the Justice field in Red Dwarf (https://youtu.be/IlaNKKHzNKQ). Then free will still exists but noone gets hurt but the perpetrator. Red Dwarf is just fiction made by 20th century humans, so why couldn't an all knowing and all powerful deity beat that... Unless he was just the fiction of bronze age humans...

It is almost as if God didn’t create man and instead man created God because they wanted answers and didn’t know how to find them so they made some stuff up that sounded good and made them happy. Then idiots decades and centuries later via the imprecise nature of oral traditions ended up thinking God made man and then turned that into dogma and zeal to use as a way to give them the right to do things they should probably not be doing. But no an all knowing all powerful transdimensional sky daddy with a torture fetish and mass-murder boner does seem like a more reasonable conclusion.

You know what...your off-handed joke about God stubbing his toe and accidentallying our universe and then being mad about the shit we do and wanting to punish us is a more compelling argument for God’s existence or at least why God could be mad at his own creation that he knew would turn out this way than anything I have heard from religious people.
