Little Update (December) (Patreon)

Hey there guys!

Little update as promised yesterday, as I need to clarify a thing or two about how my workflow will change a tiny bit next year... Nothing too scary, but I want to let you guys know!

My actual workflow

For 2023, I decided to stop commissions and go for my personnal projects only. It allowed me to explore more stuff, get better at some, and get as creative as I could get!
So as you may or may not know, this is actually my main job. My overall incomes come from Patreon and Gumroad, which means that I need to fill them up as frequently as possible.

Unfortunately (or Fortunately for some), there are a few reasons that make me want to change that workflow.

There are two main reasons: 

First one is because I'm not in the right spot (yet) to work like this forever...

My projects sometimes need quite a lot of time and attention (Gentiana for example, Qiyana etc...) and this time means less money at the end of the month.

They are also quite risky in terms of public appreciation, since it's based on my likings and Idk how will people receive it, if Twitter will f*ck me up with shadowban, if it sells (on Gumroad for some projects)... 

So overall, a big risk for me atm.

Second reason is... This is my job, and I need to make a better profit doing it.

Things are going south everywhere in the world, my country is no stranger to that and living the comfy life that I live right now won't be possible for too long... So I need to be careful with that.
(I'm talking about economics here, mostly.)

I'm not going into detail, nor am I screaming and imploring your help for money, I just need to say what's in my mind about it to understand why I need to take action!

So now, all that to say that... I'm opening commissions again!

It might take me time from personnal projects (which, I'll be honest, pains me a bit), but at least I'll be less worried each month about the risks I mentionned earlier.

Prices will be higher than last year tho... I feel like I can't work on quantity like I used to back then, plus I feel like the old prices are not worth it for what I do.

Anyways, thanks again guys for your support, I'll let you know about prices for those who are interested during the month (I need to contact those who were interested first before publishing anywhere else). Hopefully one day, I'll be able to work like I did this year without any concern, but until then... Get ready for some comms!
