Really enjoying working on this. In fact after having done this far I'm really considering it looks like the so called rakugaki japanese artists love to label some of their not finished pieces haha.

Now the question is... would any of you call this a finished piece? Or do you consider it needs a bit more of polishing?

I'm really curious.

Personally, it seems like it could use a little polishing still, but either way I love how this is turning out :)

i think it seems unfinished since your normal polished style is present in some parts and contrasting with the rougher edges. Still looks great so far!

You're right, I asked bc I'm experimenting with a more unpolished style since it's a lot quicker and it allows me to finish a piece within a day or two. Now for the next one I know I have to polish a bit more the linework on the edges. Thanks for your response! :)

Thank you! Yeah I think so too. I've done more work on it already, but for the next piece I'll try to polish the linework a bit more and keep the rkgk style since I've been really enjoying it so far
