Experimenting with working some of this content back into my rotation! I was never too happy with just uploading hours of raw vods to the channel as much as I would like to keep an archive. So my idea here is to pick games that I thought were particularly interesting to talk about and try to cut out some of the fat in the footage leaving behind the core experience I had as well as my feedback if I thought it was in some way pertinent, interesting or useful. I loved this game from zooperdan and had a lot of fun playing and talking about it!

I realize it's not necessarily GameMaker focused, but what's nice is I can put together a video like this quite quickly and if I'm going to keep doing these streams (and I love doing them) I want to get more longterm value out of them. It also helps keep my channel "active" while I'm working on videos that take a lot longer. I also want to branch out the channel at least a little bit beyond just the niche of GameMaker tutorials as I like to at least imagine I have more than that to offer as a designer & developer. =)

Let me know your thoughts.

It Came from the Forest - Feedback Stream Highlight

Every Friday I play games made by my viewers on a Twitch stream and try to provide helpful feedback and criticism for wherever you happen to be in your game development journey! Here is one of those games. ▶ The Game by zooperdan: https://zooperdan.itch.io/it-came-from-the-forest ▶ Follow my Twitch stream: https://www.twitch.tv/shaunjs ▶ Support my work: https://www.patreon.com/shaunjs
