So lets recap, there's a lot to discuss! Firstly Animex and my workshop was absolutely super awesome. I'm probably going to be writing a full blog post about how good Animex was (and always is) in the near future. Last week saw a new video on expanding the inventory system a bit and we also got an article for GMT! Which as I'll explain will become a regular thing! I've also been putting a lot of time into the design of my new game 'Calamity' which I hope to tell you all more about in the coming weeks. But for now I'm still going to be a bit quiet (but excited) on this front. I've been thinking about my milestones for a while ever since moving the "two videos a week" milestone after it proved way too difficult to deliver. I hate really changing or playing with these things as I know that for at least some of you guys they were incentives to pledge in the first place. So I've been trying to find a way to make them _better_ than they were before while more realistic as goals. I don't think "postponing" the two videos a week goal to 750 was a good idea. If I do reach that goal I don't think that level of content production will be any easier than it was at 500, so I've made the decision to drop that goal entirely and replace it with something new: $750 - A game development livestream every week! Now this would be open ended and ad-hoc enough to not require the kind of pre-planning and research time that my videos do, while providing a direct method of interaction with viewers and being something that I can comfortably fit into my routine. This might follow development on my own games, or on tutorial specific stuff. I have a lot of fun doing this sort of thing already during Ludum Dare events and would love to do it more regularly. In addition to this change, I've added a new $500 goal (which has ofcourse already been met!) as I still feel this amount is very significant and demands more from me than just a video and update every week. $500 - One tutorial video & one tutorial article per week! So from this point onwards I'm going to be writing a tutorial for GMT.com as well as creating a video tutorial each week. Often it is likely that the content will be mirrored (the article will be a written version of the video itself) but they may also be different. This is to give people different methods by which to learn if they desire them. I'm hoping these new milestone goals are a bit better than what was on offer before. They're certainly more realistic but I also think they offer overall greater value. I'm hoping to not change them again, I've put a lot of thought into these and I'm very much hoping they'll work out well and stick. Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments below.

Hi Shaun, the change makes sense to me, because I always think quality is much more important than quantity. One carefully prepared tutorial video and one article might help explain more details than two rushed videos. Thanks for all you've delivered! And don't press yourself too hard.

I dont like watching streams.. but as long as there is at least one video per month... I'll still be happy and pay.

I would probably aim to upload highlights from stream stuff to YouTube as well. Unless I ever fall under £250/m somehow I'll be doing 1 video a week (4 a month) for the foreseeable future =)
