So I've started work on a new Platformer series. 

Yeah another one.

My goal here is to bring together a lot of my other content as well as bring forward a lot of older content for GameMaker Studio 2, and wrap it together in an expandable learning package. My first platformer series was strong but it was haphazard and random, this series has a clear goal in mind that can then be expanded. I've based it largely on a series of lectures I did on "Game Feel" recently when I realised that I don't have a complete series that ends up with something solid beyond my Asteroids tutorials. I want to remedy that and have a solid series I can point beginners to for GMS2 that guides them as directly as possible to an intermediate level with an understanding of everything at a basic level. Menus, screenshake, transitions, the lot.

It's gonna start with basic platforming stuff and I'm probably going to only dedicate every other video to this, as it's going to be mostly beginner centric for quite a while and I want to do other stuff for the rest of my audience. Someone brought up tile collisions the other week in the context of a platformer, that's something that will likely find its way into this series (although not to begin with).

I'm doing some work on Tribal Tension too, I've not really been able to stream recently but I hope to start doing that on a regular weekly basis too. It's likely to be mondays again (Mondev returns!? :O).

busy bee right now, so I'm gonna get back to it! This isn't my monthly update I just figured I'd been a bit quiet this week so I'd let you know what's on the horizon.
