Curvy nonsense: When a character is made more curvy than normal for an image.

This poll is to get a general idea of how desired it is in milestone images (so in non-canon bonus images, not in canon. In canon might get a poll later.)

A vote for “yes” is not a vote for CONSTANT curvy nonsense. It’s just for liking it, not for “it should be that all the time”.

This poll is about in general. There will always be specifics to consider, which can be mentioned in comments.

The "for all" bit in the title is because this poll is open to all patrons. I did a version that was just for the voting tier earlier. I'm curious if there's any difference.

I'm not sure how this poll differs from the previous poll but I'm signed onto both general and special theories of curcy nonsense. (as always with consideration given to those that aren't)

A Red Mage Named Blue

I'm not saying that there should never be curvy nonsense. I know a lot of people enjoy it (Even if I have no understanding as to why). I just always prefer when the nonsense is non-curvy

M.

Most of the comic recently has been story- and character-focused, and I'm really enjoying that. But it's been a long time since we had a story that was *just* about transformation fun - something like Nanase Craft. I think the curvy nonsense pics are great for that when the story's not going there.

egscomics

They’re identical polls aside from who they’re shared with, with slight differences in description above the options because of that difference.

I agree. I was having trouble stringing together coherent words. Thank you for articulating it.

Otter Annason

i say no to everyone always having giant boobs. Give their backs a break, please. Curvy hips are fine, but the boobs just get ridiculous

Viktor

Variety, please. Sexy is fine, even lots of sexy, but “Curvy” is a very specific subset of that. It doesn’t need to be all curvy all the time, any more than all chocolate all the time would taste good.

Anonymous

Please, no more humungaboobs.

Opus the Poet

No FV5 on top of FV5. Does the TF gun have a skinny tomboy but still sexy setting?

Some Ed

I feel like stating for the record, I'm pro nonsense of Dan's choosing, and pro Dan letting us pick some aspects of the nonsense if it suits them, but I do not have any particular stake into the curviness or lack thereof of said nonsense.

Mark

Boobs bigger than the character's head just look silly.

Anonymous

I find the over-boobification of characters in the "sketchbook" art to bit uncomfortable, given that these are teens, and I'm an old man. (Though I'm quite pleased with the sensitivity of the story comics in that area.)

AstroChaos

Some level of random curvey nonsense is great of course but most of the time it's so unbalanced it's... well... comical.

Seadog Driftwood (Casey)

I get that wide hips, ample waistlines, plus-sized figures, and weight gain aren't everyone's cup of tea, which is fair enough. However, I still think it would be neat to see some more of those.

Hans Peter Bak

....mmmmm....curvy nonsense.....

Sleep

I think we'd all do well to remember that Dan doesn't seem to be going for sexy so much as Very Strongly Gendered. Plausibly not at all what you're into, but getting people to be into it is not the point.
