There were 3 things Elliot hadn't realized:

1 - He liked his mall form enough that it had become its own special form with its own abilities.

2 - One of these abilities was to bestow a similar transformation upon anyone he kissed.

3- This transformation would then spread to anyone he'd ever kissed before.

At least it doesn't say anything about spreading to anyone that the effected person has ever kissed before, all of MSHS would likely be transformed due Nanase having dated most of the guys there and then the girls those guys dated, sheesh, it would spread like wildfire.
