Commentary

I'd say it's a bit strange that I'm writing this, as I generally don't like being touched.

At the same time, I have sat closely with friends without dating before, and it's been good.

So maybe it's not so weird.

This commentary is brought to you by a tired cartoonist who created the majority of the above comic after getting a crown put on one of their teeth, which I don't THINK makes me a cyborg, but is closer than most.

Sarah: "Can you imagine Elliot and Tedd cuddling?" Grace: "I not only can, I frequently do!"

M.

I agree with Grace on all of this. I wouldn't say I'm attracted to any of my friends, but it makes me sad sometimes that none of them are hugging types.

Going from a cuddle accepting group in HS to a no touching group in college made college so much harder then it needed to be for me.

Being touched makes me flinch. But physical contact that's wanted, and expected? That can be hella calming.

strongly agree with Grace cudlding friends is good and cozy i mean hell, kissing friends can be good too! it's all about what people are comfortable with <3

Grace's question in the last panel is really hard to parse.

What Grace says is perfectly true for Grace. But for typical teenagers with carbonating hormones? Yeah, no. Breaking down the barriers to physical contact will invite sexuality to the party.
