I wonder if Sarah would feel less naked if the fur looked like clothing via coloration. Like, the classic fox tail, or various cats' and dogs' coats are differently colored in different places. With magic, you might have full control over what gets colored how, so why not *decide* that? It might have a similar effect to how some tattooed people don't feel naked even without clothes.
