Fashion!

Commentary

I'm not entirely sure how I wound up on the goose outfit, but there it is.

It exists now.

Huzzah.

It's the sort of thing that makes me wonder if I'd be willing to wear it in Skyrim just for infinite sprinting and getting to high places.

This comic was mostly delayed because I was terribly behind at sleep and falling asleep at the drawing tablet, but I had also originally imagined much simpler outfits with only minor details to differentiate them, and simpler poses.

But then I decided to do the middle panel first, and I wanted Ashley to be jumping. Fine. Easy.

Then I decided I wanted to show her feet. Okay, so I have to zoom out more.

Motion lines? Um, okay, I'm not the best at those, and... Wait, what did I just decide to do with her outfit?

Things escalated quickly, is what I'm typing.

You did an amazing job on these!

Nice catgirl Ellen

Geese can’t attack? That doesn’t sound like geese I know.

The closest reference to this I can think of is Majora's Mask. And yes, I always found the Bunny Hood ASAP and kept it in my hotbar at all times, because "make me move faster" and "make me look silly" are both excellent buffs.

Brooks Moses

Can't attack "normally" where "normally" is defined for humanoid bipedal creatures. As noted in the next sentence, these geese attack everything nearby pretty much continuously, just in a gooselike way. :) (I do agree that there should be something more than just "honk" as attack, though.)

You rock! Thanks again for this run of NP. Myself and my roommate are definitely enjoying this Tedd Talk :D

Bunny feet are actually furry all over, including on the bottom. They don't have exposed "pads" the way cats and dogs do. Nice selection of outfits though!

I'm pretty sure the Goose stat block is inspired by Untitled Goose Game, and I'm suspecting that the outfit itself might be inspired by https://twitter.com/outsidextra/status/1177878458644471808 (if not it's an impressive coincidence...)

Honk!

John Trauger

Depending on the combat system the Cat Suit could provide dodge but not resistance to damage. One might argue that's the wrong kind of "Bunny Outfit"... I'm kinda surprised I'm the first to mention it.... One might also point out that geese can bite and the Goose Outfit could provide two quick, light-damage attacks in addition to the automatic "Honk" attack.

Although geese attack with their wings as much as their beaks... However, this does not really matter in comparison to the filk possibilities of David Bowie's Fashion: Fashion! Turn to the left Fashion! Turn to the right Ooh, fashion! We are the goon squad and we're coming to town Beep-beep Beep-beep Any good filk musicians around?

Do a demonic duck? And in ancient days there was a fannish board game called "For This, You Die". One of the most desirable items you could find was the gorilla suit. With that, you were immune to all problems.

AstroChaos

Yeah, I'd have fun with each of these outfits in the right game.
