Honestly, I'm not sure what you should wear when greeting someone who might be some sort of pirate queen.

Maybe your own pirate? Like, riding on your shoulders.

You can be like "yeah, you might try something, but I've got my own pirate right here."

And they might have a parrot on their shoulders, and not going to lie, that's a power move, but it's nowhere near the power move of having a pirate on your shoulders.

On the other hand, there's the potential embarrassment of finding out that the pirate on your shoulders is one of her loyal subjects, which I think makes it not a power move at all.

It depends on how loyal they are. If you can find someone willing to jump ship over a piggyback ride, it might still be a power move.

All I know is if you meet a pirate queen, wear an outfit with a heap of concealed weaponry.

Go for unconcealed weaponry, it’s more intimidating. In fact, skip the outfit, just go around wearing a pile of weapons.
