EDIT - Minor shadow correction

Her inventory defies time and space, okay?

Commentary

In which we learn the size of Susan's halo isn't a quirk of it technically being a hat. It's because Susan's just that good.

Bandits in Skyrim and raiders in Fallout 4 will sometimes talk to themselves about turning their lives around or having regrets, and in the former, they will sometimes genuinely talk about paying off their bounties and walking into towns "free men".

From a story perspective, their sincerity is questionable, and given the sort of game they're in, ultimately irrelevant. Unless you're a named NPC with a quest, there's no potential for a redemption arc. Likely not even then, really.

Still, a Dan can dream.

"Huh? What was that?" "It's just a box."

When I saw that Fallout 4 would let you pacify opponents, I spent a day trying to figure out how to recruit them into settlers.

I'm enjoying how the rhymes tend to break down in these songs, due to distraction or otherwise...

A lot of times, those bandits who talk about paying off their bounties are also planning to do so using gold from banditry. They don't regret their crimes, just not being able to visit the pub. I think this kind of scenario would have been better, where some of them are just people who did stupid things when they were kids and now deeply regret it, but... that's unfortunately not the case.

So she's tiny, and has this giant halo... What... What would happen if someone noticed her, and grabbed the halo? Would she be lifted up and wind up dangling under the halo? Where is it even attached? The standard image is they're attached to one's head. I'd think she'd get some hella neck strain.

And she wonders why she has a halo and angel-wings? Also that was funny as hell. Nicely done!

If you look back at Parable 122, the halo has its own physics, it's not really attached.

In Fallout 3 you could redeem random people for caps. Oh wait, that was using the mesmetron to make slaves of them and getting paid caps. Never mind.
