Commentary

I feel this might be a little too true to real life when compared to the recruitment strategies for any number of things.

I hope the lurking in the bushes part is hyperbole, at least, but I can't be certain.

I wasn't sure what Rhoda should be wearing, and then I thought about Susan in the past couple of comics, and decided "yep, that's where this outfit went."

Granted, that doesn't change the logic behind why Susan hasn't put anything else on, which was to annoy Rhoda's former boss.

OMG he's a creepy van guy with <strike>candy</strike> good deeds. I love it. Also Rhoda looks great in Susans old outfit. :)

... Susan gets to be a "bad influence" again? Nice!

Rhoda needs potions to help with this perilous quest....

Thisguy

Makes sense, Arthur, after getting fed up with Susan ignoring him, is looking for more recruits.

'Tis a short journey from monk to paladin.

Something tells me that after Susan is done with slacking off and have fun with potions, she's going to turn around and find that Rhoda has stolen the position of protaganist and completed the main quest line without her.

Wait, why is Rhoda wearing Susan's outfit?

Chordat

Wasn't the entire point of sending Susan to this village to find the Hero of Melee, like in the game this is parodying?

Mark

I don't know. Do you?!

Rhoda wants neither the evil nor the corruption that come with potions. Also, I think she's going to find it difficult to provide cheap housing in this village as Susan has cornered that market. On the other hand, I think she has less aversion to the all the other stuff that Susan was trying to avoid with her potion use. (Ok, to be fair, the evil Susan got from potion use was from potion use on NPCs. Who, as I'm thinking about it, didn't tend to have flies swarming around them afterwards. Does this mean that Susan convinced them to also get in the cheap rent business? I'm guessing nobody can break into that market at this point...)
