Luke used to shoot thwomp rats in his spaceship back home, which didn't actually harm the thwomp rats, as they were made of solid stone, and protected by spikes.

Commentary

- Luke visibly nervous about bowling with Diane and Lucy (Justin and Sarah talking about Justin's date)

- "His boyfriend's (Luke) like a frightened bunny." 

In a shocking twist, LUKE IS GOOD AT BOWLING.

Also, he totally used his spell to see if Diane and Lucy had magic, and it's the actual planned reason why he was so nervous about bowling with Diane and Lucy.

I didn't want to present Camdin as reaching an unreasonable conclusion this time around, so for the last panel, I wrote "worst poker face ever" in the script.

Now, I'm sure there's a lot of competition for that title, but I'm pretty sure we can all agree it's not a GOOD poker face.
