Rhoda's talking first, but they're still in the same place in line, so the angle is changed. That's why a different background. What's behind them now is where the magic of bowling ball place food happens.

Though, honestly, it's been so long since I've been to a bowling alley, I've no idea what to expect from where you get food in one. I just went with a generic "place where you get food" feel.

Almost missed out on pockets!

I actually planned to have this comic on Thursday, and started working on it. I suddenly realized I was going to miss my last chance to naturally have the pocket reveal moment I wanted, however, so I immediately switched to making that comic.
