Avengers: Infinity War (FULL MOVIE REACTION)

I don't wanna go Mr. Stark

Lucifer Moon

One problem with the Thanos argument (and there are many flaws in his logic and argument) is that those who claim murder is necessary due to lack of global resources always fail to take into the potential of future scientific advancements and social movements to dramatically boost overall all resources yields and outputs.

Lucifer Moon

when dr. strange says 'we are in the endgame now' he is referring to the chess-phase known as 'The Endgame Phase'.

Why do you hate Mantis so much? She's one of my favs

This is the reason I joined your Patreon - for this exact moment. I've been following you on YouTube for some time now, but it was Infinity War that I've been waiting for; some YouTube edited down version I don't think will cut it. And I figure I'll stay on board at least long enough to catch Endgame too. Well without further ado... let's get it.

Steven Weber

Since I assume you don't remember every detail from the past movies. I'll answer some questions: tony had the flip phone cause Steve gave it to him at the end of civil war in case he ever needed him again. "Friday" is the new Jarvis basically, after Jarvis' interface was put into vision in Age Of Ultron. Bearded cap is the best imo lol. Yes the guy on the vormir is Red Skull from First avenger. And Gamora is the only one who knew where it was and what it cost that is why she wanted quill to kill her. The Giant iron man armor is called the "Hulkbuster" as Tony made it specifically for the exact situation in Age of Ultron where Hulk got out of control and they needed to stop him. You are not alone, we all get a boner every time watching Thor's wakanda entrance. Sure he could still kill everyone with just the 5 stones, but not at the snap of his fingers without the 6th. When Tchalla said Thanos will have nothing but dust, and blood was foreshadowing all the death, and then the 50% of them turning to dust... None of us were okay after the 1st time watching this. I cried for hiemdall & Loki, and for Peter.

I’m glad you put that last 30 second clip of you understanding the snap and ending, I was like “THEY ARE DEAD WHY AREN’T YOU CRYING LIKE THE REST OF US!” My entire theatre was quiet as a mouse walking out, nobody said a word.

William

Alex: “I don’t want anybody to die.” *Sponge Bob Narrator* “Two minutes later…” *half of all life in the universe dies* 🤪

William

"They didn't win!" Well of course they didn't, Alex. Important to remember that this is THANOS' film - The Avengers are the antagonists here. Thanos is the protagonist, so of course, he'd win. ;) Just for the record, "they" (being everyone and everything that vanished) didn't go anywhere. They simply ceased to exist, and it was completely random. Just FYI. Also, the following two films are essential to the overall story and necessary to go into Endgame. At any rate, you've still got plenty of MCU left to blow your mind. Peace out!

Look on at it this way Alex, at least you won't have to wait a year to watch Endgame!

Christina Matzen

YES! Let’s GOOOOOOOOOO! Dude, I am so jealous you don’t have to wait to watch Endgame. Swear to God, 2018-2019 was the longest year of my life. Granted, I also had a cardiac arrest and died that year but I wasn’t dead for long so I didn’t end up missing it. Whew!!

Christina Matzen

I would think, also, he would have to be in person to kill half of everyone without the 6th stone. Like having to go planet to planet rounding everyone up like he did Gamora’s planet. I’ve seen Infinity War at least 100 times. I put it on to fall asleep, I put it on and just listen to it in the car sometimes, when I’m cleaning the house or cooking dinner. I could probably recite the damn thing. I just stopped to read the comments before watching Alex’s video and now I’m like “Aw man, that’s right :( Loki” 😂

Anonymous

I, too, joined your Patreon for this moment, Alex. Don't want this to be too much of a sob story, but I used to watch the Marvel movies with my girlfriend, but, well...prison happened. I ended up watching most of them on the inside, but was eagerly anticipating getting out and watching this one with her on the big screen. As fate would have it, though, Anna died of cancer just three months before I was released. Long story short, I ended up seeing this movie and the rest by myself. That's why I now look forward to every Sunday, because I have a great new goofy, fanboy buddy (you, ya big doofus!) with whom to watch the MCU with fresh eyes. In Anna and Stan's memory...

BTW, just wanted to add, Nidavellir (phonetically: NEED-a-VEL-ear) is another name for Svartalfheim, which is one of the nine realms in Norse mythology and the home of the dwarves. Eitri, who forged Thor's hammer, Mjolnir (among other magical items), and his brother Brokkr being the most notable.

Jason Rogue

Alex I would advise not to read the comments until you at least finished Endgame. I'm sure some will spoil what happens in Endgame (since there was already someone spoiling everything that's going to happen in Endgame because they didn't believe that was your first time.) As someone said yes, it sucks that Ant-Man and the Wasp is next, then Captain Marvel, and finally Endgame, but they're essential for understanding what happens in Endgame and who these characters are. If you can, please watch the Avengers: Endgame official trailer as it is perfect to hype you up for Endgame. 10 years led to this moment, every movie, every short led to Endgame. Luckily for you, you didn't have to wait an entire year for this.

Adam Steorts

Better to watch Endgame next and then Ant Man/Capt Marvel afterwards.

Jakub C

Svartalfheim is the planet from Thor 2, the planet of the dark elves. Nidavellir is just another planet from the 9 realms that Asgard protects. Atleast as far as MCU goes.

Dani

Yup best superhero movie ever created. Just a quick note, if you think Thanos loves power, I fear you didn't get his character. What makes him a great character is that he doesn't want to use his strength to just kill people randomly and be the most powerful. He truly believes he knows what's best for people and he has the will to act on it.

Dani

I don't think Gamora knew what it cost to get the soul stone. She seemed surprised when Red Skull said it. And she didn't think Thanos loved her because of how he doesn't show his emotions to her.

MotoDork

The fact that Thanos thinks he's doing the right thing does not make him the protagonist.

MotoDork

That's ridiculous. You probably also think the MCU films should be watched in chronological order for first time viewers.

William

“Thanos will return.” It’s his actions that drive the story. He’s literally the protagonist. *one doesn’t have to be doing the right thing or be a hero to be the protagonist of a story. That’s simply not how it works.

NEED-A-VA-LEER

justin h taylor

AY man when you came back, you realized what happened!! I saw this in theaters. I'm not ashamed to admit I wept a little bit.

Matt Jones

just try to imagine watching this, then having to wait a year to see the finale.

Fran

Actually I looked up how much it cost to make these. Infinity War and End Game cost Marvel 1 BILLION dollars!!!!

Anonymous

Yes, Jakub, as far as the MCU goes, you are correct. Svartalfheim literally meaning "dark elf home." Since there seemed to be a little confusion as to what Nidavellir and Eitri had to do with the Asgardians, I was attempting to give more context into how they fit in historically.

Anonymous

Alex, said it a couple weeks ago in your Thor: Ragnarok YT vid that I'd join here for Infinity War and Endgame, and here I am! I am enjoying these SO much. Much love brother!

Low

The two movies put together only costed 672 million to make.

Fran

I was reading articles for hours last night and they said a billion but what do i know? I don't really care enough to look it all up again.

Chris Giesy

The Post credits scenes. You miss the post credits scenes. Why?

Namari

In regards to whether or not Thanos truly loved Gamora: He did. Very much so. This is why they showed the scene where he adopted her as a child. As far as he's concerned, Gamora is his daughter (even moreso than Nebula as she has stated before). His tears were genuine, realizing that the one thing he truly loved was her and he had to sacrifice her to attain the stone. The reason he did so anyway, despite how badly it broke his heart inside, is because Thanos truly believes he's acting for the Greater Good. He knows that achieving what he thinks is right for the universe will require him to sacrifice everything, tho it still took him by surprise and shock that he would have to sacrifice her. That's why he did so. Just wanted to explain this further as you were wondering why he would do that to her if he loved her, tho I don't blame you for calling it the way you did either. :) EDIT: I just read that someone above me in comments did touch on this reasoning, oops xD.

Anonymous

So my theory on why the hulk won’t come out is that thanos was the first thing who ever really matched him and it basically scared the shit out of him and he’s embarrassed he was beat and scared so he’s basically hiding inside banner. But that’s just my theory. Hulk is scared.

Namari

Also another creepy fact: when half the universe disappeared out of existence, Peter's Spider sense was going absolutely berserk, warning him of imminent, extreme danger, but he was so confused and horrified cuz his Spider sense couldn't feel where the danger was coming from. He was essentially feeling himself fading out of existence and he couldn't do anything to stop it. It's so terrifying when you think about it ._.

jxm82

Im pretty sure that was confirmed by the directors

Anonymous

I read somewhere that the directors said it wasn’t because he was scared but because of the disconnect between the two halfs. But it seemed more like he was scared to me. Lots of hearsay 😂

Anonymous

Just a suggestion, can you add the end-credit scene reactions to your Patreon videos.

Johnny

Anyone know when the next marvel movie upload will be? 🤨

Anonymous

Lucile Byrd

An hour in and you haven't been too affected yet? I was reeling from Loki's death the entire movie!
