Thanks! BTW, just for the sake of a reminder,you said the FLAT COLOR layer is just there as a backup for the COLOR layer when you use that for shading, right?

Pretty much, yeah. I keep a duplicate layer of the flat colors in case I mess up and need to redo anything. It also helps if I want to select an entire color area at once.
