Happy new year everyone! We’ve come a long way. Thank you so much for supporting me this far! I hope we all have a good year! Even though the last couple of years have been rough for the world, I hope things chill at least for a bit in 2023 lol.

My story has grown pretty nice, finally have something to be proud of! My first ever work didn’t do well at all, it was a terrible experience hahaha! That story was so bad I had to delete it on some websites (some because it’s still on Webnovel, they don’t have a delete button… like come on Webnovel.) Still cringing thinking about it XD, basically a ripoff of another story lol. I got some hurtful comments and PMs from that.

But that’s in the past now. I think I have improved in some ways? XD.

Anyways, I’ll be sharing my plans for this year regarding writing. I’m planning to publish my other story “Embracing Tears.” Just self-publishing, might be on Amazon or something. I just want to try publishing something and get some money before graduating. Might get some success.

As for why I decided to work on that first, it’s because it has fewer errors to work on and because it’s way shorter. As the first volume of it is shorter than RPoB, working on it will be easier. I’m gonna start small first, one step at a time. Proofreading is also a hard obstacle, mainly because editing or just proofreading is very expensive, and I can’t afford it… Fortunately, I have a friend that’s willing to help me proofread it. Also gonna need support from some editing software.

As for the Royal Princess of Blood, I do plan on publishing it eventually. One of the challenges in publishing it is the sheer size of just a single volume, just the first volume alone is thiccck as heck. It has more than 150k words, it’s 500 pages in my document (like holy sh*t what have I done, hehe). Furthermore, I have to admit, the writing prose leaves a lot to be desired in that, especially at the first parts of the first volume – it was my first time writing in First Person, so I know it was rough. RPoB is gonna need some deep correcting and editing, and some scene rewrites.

If the self-publication of Embracing Tears is successful on some level, the money gained from that would be a good addition to my budget for RPoB’s publication.

(Submitting those stories to a publishing house would be good, but they’ve already been uploaded to the net, they wouldn’t take them. So no choice but to self publish, I don’t wanna waste stories.)

And… that is all the essentials. For new year's resolution? Live healthy maybe? Lol.

Again, thank you everyone for the support! May 2023 be a good year for us all! 🙂
