Late February Update (Patreon)

Patreon's formatting is horrid, so I put together a video that more entertainingly fills you in on our schedule and what we've been up to. Let me know if you enjoy this format!

As of right now we've shot a couple of videos, both in the tail end of post-production, due to be released soon. I'm currently coordinating shooting the final segment for a video we hope to get out next Saturday.

We've decided to bring Tipsy Kitchen to the channel, as such we've been decorating the kitchen accordingly. The  pièce de résistance is still being made but i'm sure it'll be worth the wait. We'll definitely be showing it off here early.

Next week we're shooting a spooky video to start off March.

• Merchandise?

We've been in talks with partnering with Rooster Teeth, which includes merchandising; however, they've made it clear that their design team is broadly unavailable. As such, we're more likely to go it alone for the time being. I've been looking into local manufacturers; It's definitely a huge process, but I want to get it right from top to bottom. As for design, we're in the very early stages and are still looking for a designer who fits our needs. We really don't want to make something totally derivative. I hope this communicates exactly where we're at. We'll definitely keep you posted with the solids when we have them.

• Where's Alec been?

Early January Alec quit. He decided it'd be best for him to return to school and live anonymously due to extreme anxiety and conflict with his family. As he told me, he has zero interest in returning to any online presence. It wasn't the content of our videos, or interpersonal issues but rather something he's felt since working at Cow Chop. He just doesn't feel this is for him. It's taken some time for me to communicate this because of the nature of why he left. I don't want to compound any existing anxiety he may be experiencing by choosing the wrong forum.

As for what this means to Offcanny, outside of his presence on camera, Alec even made the point to me that he never contributed equal share. The last 5 releases, excluding the Patreon video, have been planned independently of him. I really love doing this; I feel blessed to have the opportunity. We've just started -- we're not stopping here.

I don't much like the drama of these things. It's all meant to be fun. I hope you guys can join me in cracking jokes about it.
