Alright! So I've done a bunch of test printing!

I'm really impressed by how these all have printed out for the most part. There are some good things and some meh things but here's my basic assessment.

I got 4 different types of t-shirts. The Gildan SoftStyle, The District Perfect Tee, The District Concert Tee, and the District Very Important Tee. All of the tees were 100% cotton except for the Perfect Tee which was 50/50 cotton poly. I really liked that one the best, but it will have to be used for something different because I didn't like the print quality as much. I think for something distressed it will look fine, but of course I would make sure to beta test the print on that before anything. Now because of a specific issue I had with the pretreatment for the Concert Tee, I actually don't have photos of that one. However, it's a lot thinner and not so soft. I believe it would be a good t-shirt to do some tests on for the summer because of how thin it is, but because Furenzy will be launching in the fall/winter, I won't be touching the concert tee until later.

Also, keep in mind that all of these shirts were printed under the same settings and the only difference between some of them is a single or double pass of pre-treatment. :)

The first one that I did a test print on was the District Perfect Tee. I did a single pass pretreat and this is how it turned out.

District Perfect Tee Single Pass Pretreat

I was not impressed by the quality. The white is so dull. :( So I decided to do a double pass and see how it turned out.

Better! But still not up to par... So sad! I really liked this tee, too. I want to do a distressed look on it because the printing style would look good with it. The reasoning for the printing issues is definitely because of it being partially polyester. I'm super sad about it, but it is what it is!

Then I tried the Gildan Soft Style. I only bothered doing a single pass with this brand because even though with a single pass it looked nice, and would probably look even better with a double, I would like to go with a higher quality brand.

Surprisingly it actually turned out really nice. I do like the way the SoftStyles let the ink fall on the shirts, but it isn't my first choice. However, I may use the SoftStyles for my budget line of clothing if I don't end up using the normal Gildan/Port tees for it.

Now here is the District Very Important Tee. I did a single pass on this and thought it turned out pretty nice but just not good enough.

So I tried a second pass and... WOW

That's what I'm talking about :)!!!!

I'm very impressed with District's Very Important Tee with a double pass! So I believe this is the one I will be using! It's a very nice and soft shirt and the printing just blew me away! I'm still going to be tinkering around with optimizing the print, but dang... This is just turned out so much better than I expected. I'm very happy!

Please let me know what you guys think! I would love any feedback you guys have to give me!
