I think you're confused about something, when Endeaver said he put his wife in the hospital, it's not because he beat her. It was a mental hospital, because she attacked their son. Still not a great husband/father, but not a brutal wife beater (in an extreme sense, he probably slapped her around and sure that's not ok)

Hero killer : Stain is one of the most badass antihero out there , he isn’t a blunt villain but a devoted and absolutely resolute person with a very purposeful and meaningful goal , with an extreme self justice and method . He put upon himself that he must act that way to change hero’s society (superhuman society : choujin shakai ) fundamentally ( because it has big problems that will be detailed and has great deal of consequences ).

Endeavors is cool , but yeah he was and his a shit bag of a Dad and husband , and even tho he didn’t really beat his wife maybe slap twice , he put her into such extreme mental distress/turmoil she hurt shoto , and he had to put her in a psychiatric hospital .

Basically Stain is working for a fair and just society.. no matter if they are heros or villains doesn't matter unless they are right, both are equally held responsible in Stain's pov... The only reason he saved Deku is coz he already said he is worth not killing right now... and he recognize Deku has fair hero potential than anyone else

Remember these kids are still just kids, rookie heroes. Actually not even that, they're interns so they aren't even at the hero level yet. Its like when Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura were up against Zabuza, they couldn't do much (well, Sakura didn't do a damn thing) it really showed the difference in strength between amateurs and pro's. Stain is on the pro-level, killing pro heroes so of course Iida couldn't take him down on his own, or even him and Deku, it took three student hero's to even have a slight chance of beating Stain. Man, it gets so, so much better from here!

Endeavour never beat his wife.... She was stressed from the married that was arranged to produce strong children that she had a mental breakdown and threw boiling water on todoroki which caused the scar on his face... Endeavour then put her in the hospital, the Mental Hospital cause she was a danger to the children... He never beat his wife....
